Trust in Politicians and the Media

“Trust” is a meta-concept, which is investigated in several social sciences. I focus on two main research questions:

(A) Media effects (e.g. negativity, personalization, privatization, emotional reporting, hard and soft news) on trust in politicians and trust in the media.

(B) The relationship between trust in individual politicians and general trust in politicians as well as stability of trust in politicians and trust in media.
